Our Delivery Model
How We Work
Clear entry. Defined responsibility. Human-led delivery.
Every engagement begins with a defined pathway, a preliminary review, and a written scope before any work proceeds. No ambiguity about what counsel will handle, what you are responsible for, or what happens next.
The Engagement Sequence
From first contact to accountable delivery, each step is defined before the next begins.
- 01
Identify Your Pathway
Begin by selecting the pathway that fits your situation — limited-scope Michigan counsel, counsel affiliation, or founder and fractional CLO support. Each pathway has a distinct scope, audience, and entry process.
- 02
Preliminary Review
Before any engagement is offered, the firm conducts a preliminary review of fit, conflicts, and scope. This is not legal advice and does not create a client relationship. Do not include confidential matter details in your initial inquiry.
- 03
Written Engagement
Where an engagement is appropriate, you will receive a written scope defining what counsel will handle, what you remain responsible for, and the next steps. No work proceeds without a signed engagement agreement.
- 04
Accountable Delivery
Work is delivered against the defined scope with clear review responsibilities. Counsel remains accountable for the defined work. You remain responsible for decisions, deadlines, and actions outside the engagement scope.
CounselGate™
CounselGate is the governance framework behind the firm's developing digital-delivery model. It structures intake, review responsibilities, and the boundary between attorney-led work and client-aligned digital support.
CounselGate is not an autonomous lawyer, a guarantee of privilege, or a client-facing product. It is the internal framework that keeps delivery accountable and scope defined.
Client-Aligned Digital Support
Client-aligned digital support is part of the service model and is being prepared for approved use. Availability and permitted use are confirmed individually — not activated by visiting the site or booking a meeting.
Where digital support is available, it operates through a client's own supported workspace under separately confirmed permissions. The firm's internal practice workbench is not a public tool and is not accessible through this site.
Access is subject to separately confirmed availability and permitted use.
A Note on Sensitive Information
Do not include confidential matter details in any public channel — including the scheduler, general inquiry email, or this site. No attorney-client relationship is formed by submitting an inquiry or booking a meeting. Existing clients should continue through the communication channel already agreed for their matter.
